Seine River Services for Seniors, in partnership with professionals and volunteers, offers many services.
- Foot care : Foot care nurses have special training to cut toenails appropriately and to recognize problems that require medical attention. Many seniors are at risk for foot problems due to a decrease in flexibility, sensation, healing or poor circulation to the legs and feet possibly caused by diseases such as diabetes or heart disease. Seine River Services for Seniors organizes monthly foot care clinics in the library in Ste Anne, in Paradise Village and in Le Chalet in La Broquerie.
- Housecleaning : A volunteer with SRS can help you with light jobs to tidy and clean your home for an hourly rate. Light jobs may include dusting, cleaning bathrooms, sweeping, vacuuming and washing floors. Heavier jobs such as seasonal window and wall cleaning are also available.
- Transportation : A volunteer at SRS can offer transportation to appointments or to run errands, with a minimal mileage rate.
